No! There are many breastfeeding classes out there, but none like this one. Because in Prepared to Breastfeed, a Registered Nurse listens to YOU. Your goals, your situation, your baby. And when you hit a snag, she’s right there to help you out of it. Other classes give you general information. But you need guidance for your unique situation because every baby is different.

This program is focused on laying the correct foundation and avoiding problems. I recommend starting the class before baby arrives so that you know what early problems to avoid. It is much easier to avoid a problem than to fix one.
That said, Nursing With Grace does offer services to those who find themselves a little deeper in. Check here for our other services.

Typically, no. These visits can be done over secure video chat or phone call. But if you’re within a 10 mile radius of Torrance, CA and would like a home visit, house calls can be arranged.

Absolutely! Participation from fathers, partners, grandma, older children, etc are all welcome. The more people on your support team, the better you will do. I especially encourage fathers/partners to know this information backwards and forwards because they are a vital part of the process.

The course itself is almost entirely 2-10 minute videos. They are all broken down by topic to make it easy to reference later. There are some written materials provided, including cheat-sheets, goal planning pages, journal pages, etc.
There is no reading or required work. It’s learn at your own pace.
